The first person to tell me how a bride can (affordably) ship loads of vintage china off to a destination wedding on the other side of the world so she can serve cocktails (negronis!) from floral teacups scored from charity shops at her reception WILL WIN A PRIZE.
There’s so much stuff I could buy right now… and no way I can get it to the church on time.
In other news, the English half of September Pictures (hello!) was at the Vintage Wedding Fair in Chiswick at the weekend, taking pictures and being wowed by old-fashioned bling left, right and centre. A gallery soon, of course. (And on the way home, charity shopping commenced: these teacups are from Farah on Turnham Green Terrace.)
(PS: If you knew that the reason this post got its title is because I’ve had Brian Eno stuck in my head all day… you also WIN A PRIZE.)
